The Story of Amanda Todd-- It's scary to imagine how ruthless humans can get

Amanda Michelle Todd, died October 10th 2012 at the age of 15.

Here is a brief summary about the tragic story of Amanda Todd:
When Amanda was around 13, she got into online chatting, and started to meet new people on facebook where she met a 32 year old man in B.C. She fell in love with the man, then she made a foolish choice of sending a picture of her to him with her upper body naked. That's when her horror started. The man threatened her, made her do stuff that she didn't want. That Christmas, the RCMP knocked on her door, informing her about how pictures of her naked were posted all over the school. She was bullied everyday. She had moved to many different provinces across Canada in an attempt to escape from her bullies. The guy soon found the new school that she was attending and sent in the pictures again. She finally committed suicide, but it took her 3 tries before she finally succeeded.

Thoughts:
- She was only 13, everyone makes mistakes. Why can't we just forgive and forget? Does she really deserve these types of treatments?
- It is scary and sick to just think about what humans are capable of doing. The harm that we can inflict on others, and enjoying it at the same time...it's just ....inhumane.
- We didn't give Amanda a chance to change. Yes, she did make a stupid choice; she was childish, but so what? She will eventually grow up, and look back at what she did. We didn't even give the chance to reflect back at what she did.....Even criminals get a second chance after coming out from prison, why can't a 15 year old girl be given the same opportunity?
- The man was the person who was seducing her, she was just a victim of cyber bully.
Please stop with the bully....One person has already been sacrificed, we don't need another victim to see how much damage bullying can cause a person. I have personally been a victim of bully before, and I know how it feels. I wouldn't want other people to have to go through the same thing again as Amanda did. I was lucky enough that I was optimistic about things..not everyone has that ability.
